This is a 12.5″ Special Royal Shri tin Khukuri .
‘Shri Tin” was the royal title offered to then Rana rulers who had ruled Nepal for almost 104 years. It was a British Army Khukuri. British army officers carry this khukuri with great dignity and valor and were presented as the gifts for departing army officers recognising their contributions and deeds. A retired officer can get this khukuri from his regiment as memento. GGK has reproduced this khukuri not forgetting the design, detail and art within the blade. Upkeeping the traditional legacy GGK has reproduced this khukuri for easy handling with razor sharp blade. It can be used for both deocratives, souvenirs along with other outdoor works.
The khukuri is available in traditional brown scabbard with potholes for two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak . Karda is the sharp small knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for honing the blade and striking flints for producing fire .
GGK feels pride to offer this Army khukuri as a legendary weapon for real khukuri lovers.
