About khukuri

This is a 25 inch king “Siru” khukuri. Siru is a kind of grass in Nepal with slender narrow leaves. The blade of this khukuri is designed similarly. With slender blade design in the king-size khukuri, this is a proud heritage built by GGK for true traditional khukuri lovers.

GGK has made this khukuri paying tribute to the old kirati kings keeping the legacy & history intact. Historically, kings used to carry this long-bladed khukuri on their outfits.

We hand forged this blade in the modern aesthetics with state of the art ergonomics with great imagination. At the same time we kept the traditional art and design carved at the historic times.

About Khukuri Blade

The exquisitely built slender shape heavyweight blade is very agile with powerful clean cuts making it real powerful chopper.

This is a natural chopping blade for domestic, outdoor and defensive purposes. The craftsmanship on this khukuri is amazing with stunning “Yalambar” engraved at the Chhape molded atop the beautiful sheath. The longer than standard size blade length is hailed for the king-size blade with the power of clean decapitation.

About Handle, Scabbard, Karda & chamak

The handle is a full tang carved with ridges and grooves for sturdy hold in the palms with more flexible swings. The full tang copper riveted handle is tough enough to crack on any hard or light materials that come fore. The metal pommel and bolster too are strong enough to withstand the heavy impact taken by the blade.

This khukuri is accompanied by well built brown leather scabbard having good retention power of upholding the blade. The scabbard has potholes for Karda and Chakmak which too are of the highest quality.

Karda is the sharp small knife that can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for honing the blade and striking sparks for fire.

This khukuri is really a dream come true for the passionate khukuri lovers and if you are looking for the finest quality khukuri with great craftsmanship GGK has provides this thrilling king Siru Khukuri to you.

"With this king-size blade your foes will cry in great agony and kneel down for your compassion begging for mercy."
