This is a 13.5" shining sirupate khukuri also called as “Siru” kukri knife. Siru is a kind of grass in Nepal with slender narrow leaves.

The traditional sirupate was especially used by Rai and Limbu tribes from eastern Nepal who had fought many great battles . It was a regular multi tool weapon for daily household chores like cutting firewoods, chopping meats, clearing bushes, hacking through dense jungles along with defensive acts. GGK reproduced this old blade in modern aesthetics with the old design and art of the blade intact. The sword type long length blade is exquisitely built with high razor sharp and finely polished belly suitable for powerful and accurate chops .

Despite the long blade length the khukuri achieves a commanding, refined balance delivering massive controlled power upon the application of energy with more swings. This khukuri is more slender with a slightly thinner spine to boot with more agility, greater tip speed and less cutting resistance. It is a dependable real functional weapon that has the versatility to go anywhere with the slight curved handle for quick buts.

GGK has made this sirupate available in sexy black traditional design moulded leather scabbard with leather straps and buttons reflecting the traditional nobility. The Chhape moulded on the tip of the sheath has added much beauty.  The modern ergonomics put on sirupate has made it a fast khukuri very flexible and easy handling getting hold of the prey at a single stroke .

Two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak are also part of this Kukri. Karda is a small sharp knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for honing the blade and to produce sparks for fire.
