This is a 6” American Rosewood and bone handle Khukuri uniquely designed and modified by GGK in modern decent. A lightweight khukuri specially forged for hunting works.

The blade is stout and harsh with great shining looks. The razor sharp edge has good cutting strength. The blade is supported by strong bone and rosewood handle with grippers and can deliver maximum cutting speed at less thrusts. The needle shaped tip is a powerful pierce. The bolster is modified to hand guard preventing slipping of hand during the rough use. Due to its hunting nature with razor sharp edge this khukuri is of great utility tool for the jungle works. Also the rear extended pommel with lanyard hole is good to carry with the strings wound through the jungle courses. It is portable and versatile as GGK has put the blade on modern ergonomics standard.
With well leaf designed traditional red-brown scabbard, the blade is well retained and unsheathing can be done quickly for combat before the foes attack upon you. It is a real utility tool for carrying up the daily indoor and outdoor chores like cutting, chopping, cleaving etc.

NB:

  1. The bone handle in this khukuri may develop some minor cracks along the handle as it gets heated when the bolster is polished in the buffing wheel.
  2. This type of khukuri with bone handle are not designed to be used for heavy use such as other old army khukuris.
