This is a 6 inch Black Panawal khukuri. The upper belly of the blade of this khukuri gives raw iron look.
Traditionally we term this khukuri as “Aangkhola Khukuri” originated from Bhojpur some 50 years ago.
This is a full tang khukuri with sturdily built blade. The khukuri comes with well annealed razor sharp blade and has good ergonomics for power cuts.
Although little heavy weight than rat tail tang it is flexible and agile. The traditional handle with rings and grooves properly fits the hands and deliver much more balance for powerful cuts.
Its shape and size is most perfect for hunting, bush craft purposes and can be used for indoor as well as outdoor works for different purposes. The khukuri comes with traditional scabbard with two potholes for Karda and Chakmak and is very portable to carry upon your necessity.
Karda is the sharp small knife typically used for carving, digging holes, skinning animals, preparing kindling, whittling wood etc. Chakmak is used for honing the blade and striking sparks for fire.
