This is a 9″ balanced Khukuri, a semi curve metal khukuri with the valor of legendary Gurkha soldiers. The khukuri is perfectly balance from the center that helps in delivering powerful cuts .Well hand forged razor sharp blade and good ergonomics is very helpful for both indoor and outdoor works. The blade is sturdily built enough for serving the purposes of cutting, chopping and splitting logs & woods .
The traditional handle with rings and grooves gives secured grip on the hands while using this khukuri. With application of less effort the blade can do a good amount of work for combating as well as defensive purposes.
Available in the traditional scabbard with good leather quality and high retention power the scabbard has two potholes for Karda and Chakmak. Karda is the sharp small knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak a purposely blunt bade with high level of hardness that is used for honing the blade and also for striking sparks sparks for fire.
Karda and Chakmak produced by GGK are very high quality compared to others serving the very purposes, as they too are made from leaf spring blade .
