This is a 10.5 inch Afghani Gripper Khukuri. This is a full tang khukuri with the tang extended beyond the handle for combating along with other purpose such as breaking the walls.

The blade is a well forged razor sharp. Handling is made easy by grippers with the tight fist grip and the khukuri is usable for both the hands.

Gurkhas especially carry service khukuri with them but at the time of war they carry a razor sharp khukuri too, which is this Afghani Khukuri. This khukuri played a significant role in creating history of Gurkhas.

This khukuri is of great use for any kind of heavy works like splitting & chopping woods, fire wood, twigs, clearing bushes and butchering purposes.

To make it more effective, a guard is kept at the integral part of bolster to prevent slipping of hands and make the grip fully secured.

Two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak are also a part of this khukuri. Karda is the sharp small knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for honing the blade and produce sparks for fire.
