This is a medium 8 inch Panawal khukuri. Traditionally we call it "Aang khola" khukuri. "Aang" means our body parts whereas "khol " refers to naked. So simply "Aang Khola" means part of a body without covering or naked. In the terms of this khukuri the back part is hollow referring to the depression near the spine.

However it is also termed as Full tang Panawal. The blade near the upper spine is forged and depressed that helps to distribute the weight forward on the blade making it a powerful chopper. It has a long blade without notch. It is our special design made with long blade for easy and gentle cuts. Its a type of hunting khukuri with a hand forged razor sharp blade.

This hunting khukuri provides for much greater tip speed and less cutting resistance. It has the ability to hack through thin flexible brush in a way that many larger khukuris aren't capable of. This specific model features on annealed, tapered full tang Panawal style handle for better stress distribution and greater agility. The blade has significant chopping power for both indoor and outdoor purposes.

Available in portable traditional scabbard with good retention power this khukuri is accompanied by two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak. Karda is a small sharp knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for honing  the blade and produce sparks .

Karda and Chakmak produced by GGK are of very high quality as they too are made from leaf spring blade compared to others serving the very purpose .
