This is a 14 inch Old Chitlange mirror Shining khukuri. “Chitlang” a small rural town on the outskirts of Kathmandu valley is the origin of this Chitlange Khukuri. The 14 inch slender razor sharp blade is helpful to get the work done at the single stroke.
This khukuri is used by the old Nepalese Army. This khukuri can be used for outdoor works such as chopping woods, clearing bushes etc.
Two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak are also part of this kukri. Karda is a sharp small knife which can be used to cut small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals. Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for sharpening and lit fire .
