This is a 10.5 inch Shining Panawal Khukuri. “Pana” means “tang ” and “wal” means type. Thus the handle of this khukuri is a famous Panawal version where the handle pieces are glued with epoxy  to the full flat tang and metal rivets are fitted together to strengthen the fixtures.

This hunting khukuri comes with razor sharp blade. The blade weight ends on the edge for powerful distinctive cuts.

This khukuri carries glory of "Bhojpur" a small town in eastern Nepal and people there feel pride to carry this khukuri with them. This khukuri is always in their possession for their regular household chores.

This khukuri is used to cut wood, chop  meat, clearing bushes, preparing kindling, whittling wood etc.

Two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak are also part of this Khukuri. Karda is the sharp small knife which is typically used for carving, digging holes, skinning animals, eating, preparing kindling, whittling wood, etc. Similarly, we have the Chakmak that is typically used for honing the blade and striking sparks for fire.

Karda and Chakmak made by GGK are of highest quality compared to the ones that are locally available as GGK makes them with spring steel iron.
