It is a 21" Nepalese sword modified form of "Katana blade" in the western design with integral guard at the bolster. It has a razor sharp blade. We had already tested the blade by cutting 25 bottles in a single swipe which you can watch here. It was a modified form of traditional knife and mostly used in the wars. This khukuri gives deep longer cut as its blade length is the size of the sword.
It is especially used to butcher animals & cut trees and hack through bushes.
It can also be used to chop wood, meat for daily household chores.
Two small knives namely Karda & Chakmak are also part of this kukri.Karda is the sharp small knife which can be used to small woods, dig holes, skinning out animals.
Similarly, we have Chakmak that can be used for honing the blade and producing splints for fire.
