This is a 12 inch Chitlange handle guard khukuri. Chitlang is a small rural town near Kathmandu form where this Chiltlange khukuri was born. The 12 inch slender razor sharp blade is helpful to get the work done with a single stroke. Supported by full tang handle and moulded copper rivets, a metal guard and metal pommel the large elongated bevel is capable to withstand the hardest blow, delivering severe impact to make the cutting easy and effective. GGK has designed the blade for less tension and perfect  balanced weight.

This is a hunting khukuri especially used by Limbus in Nepal. The Limbu tribe holds its own dignity and recognition and has glorious history. Keeping that glorious legacy alive GGK has left no stone unturned while making this khukuri, keeping all the traditional geometry in the modern execution. The Khukuri comes with well designed traditional scabbard with two potholes for Karda and Chakmak.

Karda is the sharp small knife which is typically used for carving, digging holes, skinning animals, eating,     preparing   kindling, whittling wood, etc. Similarly, we have the Chakmak that is typically used for honing the blade   and striking sparks for fire. Karda and Chakmak produced by GGK are of the highest quality as they too are made from leaf spring blade compared to others serving the very purpose.
